VALERIA DIAZ
I am a film and television production professional with five years of experience working in the TV and film industry across feature films, television, commercials, and music videos.
My love for entertainment and film began in childhood and deepened at the age of 13 after attending a broadcast television class in middle school. Discovering the power of storytelling through moving images made it difficult to imagine pursuing anything else. From that moment on, I knew I wanted to direct and produce the kinds of films that shaped my own upbringing.
My hands-on professional experience began in 2017 at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, where I worked through the Disney College Program. That opportunity provided a strong foundation in entertainment operations, collaboration, and large-scale production environments, and it solidified my passion for working in the industry.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Communications with a focus on Video & Visual Media, as well as a Master of Business Administration. This combination allows me to balance creative vision with strong business acumen, organizational strategy, and leadership skills.
Through hands-on experience across departments, I’ve developed a deep understanding of production workflows and logistics. I am now ready to take on the next chapter of my career and am pursuing full-time opportunities as a showrunner, production coordinator, creative director, project manager, and related roles. I am recognized for my strengths in communication, logistics, and production management, and for my ability to work effectively with diverse personality dynamics across creative and operational teams.
I thrive in fast-paced environments and value collaboration, clarity, and mutual respect across all teams. With experience managing complex schedules, creative stakeholders, and deliverables, I help ensure projects move efficiently from concept to completion.
I also live with a one-in-a-million rare condition called Cleidocranial Dysplasia (CCD), which was famously introduced to mainstream television through the character Dustin on Stranger Things. I am an active advocate for individuals with rare conditions, and this lived experience deeply informs my empathetic leadership style. I believe accessibility, understanding, and strong leadership are essential—both on and off set.
